Description Kokugikan (国技館) - National Sumo Wrestling Arena Paper size: 33.6 x 25.7 cm. Number 28 from a limited edition of 50, published by Hanga no Ie in April 1925. This is a very rare limited edition print from one of the Scenes after the Tokyo Earthquake Disaster series. See "detail" for a photograph of the label attached verso. RARE

Condition Fine impression and coiours, very good condition: some (paper) tape residue top verso. Kokugikan in the Ryogoku area of East Tokyo escaped both the destruction of the earthquake ánd of the carpet bombing in WWII.
