Description July, Yoi no Uraume 七月宵之裏梅 (Ume (Japanese plum) in the Evening) from the series Girls, 12 months (Musume junigatsu) 娘十二ヶ月. As dusk descends, a woman in a light cotton kimono and black wooden geta sandals with red straps amuses herself with joss-stick fireworks. Now as in ages past, this is a typical scene that infuses summer with poetic charm.

Condition 2 sheets of large-sized nishiki-e, lined up lengthwise. Very good impression, colours and condition.
