Jogakusei - Student girl, self-printed ca. 1918. Print size: 26 x 39 cm. Imprint bottom right reading Tokyo Shitaya Yanaka Shichimenzakashita Kogan Azuma nishiki-e kai. This imprint is also found on other prints made in the same period. Collector's seal Kaneko collection verso.
Condition
Fine impression and colours, good/very good condition: some tape remains, some wear to the mica background (additional pictures available), some slight damage to the left bottom corner (outside the image). Excessively rare! This very copy is illustrated in Kindai Nihon Hanga Taikei - Great Collections of Modern Japanese Woodblock Prints (Vol. I, plate 83), which volumes have drawn heavily on the Kaneko collection.
