Description Japanese irises (ayame) and young woman Paper size: 57.4 x 42 cm, self-Printed in 1952. Print details in pencil in the bottom margin. "Hashimoto Okiie saku" in the right margin. According to Oliver Statler the artist used a model for this print and the sketch was made in the Shobu-en iris garden in Yokohama. A deservedly famous design, illustrated in most books about S�saku Hanga.

Condition Fine impression and colours (the irises with strong blindprinting), very good condition (a few minor printer's creases in the margins.
