Description Han no kai 1941 Album of new year's cards (year of the snake), distributed among 50 woodblock print artists, mainly members of the Nihon Hanga Kyôkai, under the leadership of the Han no Kai's founder, Takei Takeo (1894-1983). Introductory postcard by Kawakami Sumio, then 48 out of 50 cards. This album once belonged to ôiwa, Chûichi (1891 - ? ): most cards are directed to him. Not many of these albums have survived, as there were never more than 50 to begin with.

Condition Very good impressions, colours and condition: this album is remarkably well preserved!
