Description Fudô Myôô No. 77 (不動明王) - "Immovable Wisdom King" Paper size: 25.8 x 27 cm.. Number 148 from an edition of 200, self-printed in 1978. Hand-applied watercolour (brown and green). Print details in pencil in the bottom margin. Still attached to the original sheet of thin cardboard (still bearing transfer stains of the watercolour). Fudô Myôô is one of the Buddhist deities and one of Sasajima Kihei's favourite subjects: the title contans the number #38, and he is known to have made nearly a hundred prints depicting him.
