Description
Dutch couple Picture size: 25 x 35 cm. (so slightly smaller than standard ôban size) numbered "46-7". Titled and signed in Kanji in pencil in the right margin, numbered, dated (48.1) and signed in pencil in the bottom margin. Interesting echo of the work of Kawakami Sumio.
Condition
Fine impression and colours, very good condition: a few tiny foxing marks in the word "Hollander" (= Dutchman). Self-printed and self-published. When you click on "detail" you can see the Nagasaki print used as an example for this print it is the frontispiece of the famous book A Collection of Nagasaki colour prints and paintings by N.H.N. Mody.
