Condition Very good impression and colours good condition: some thinning verso along the top margin According to Helen Merritt, The First Thursday Collection (Ichimokushû) was published between 1944-1950 as six self-carved, self-printed sets in editions of 100 by Ichimokukai under the direction of Onchi Kôshirô. This woodblock print is illustrated in colour as plate 32 in Lawrence Smith, Japanese prints during the allied occupation 1945-1952.
