Kimura Kôrô) was born in Yokohama in 1916; part of his life he lived in Fukuoka; he is also known as Mitsuo Kimura, and as AkirÅ Kimura. He was a member of the Nihon Hanga KyÅkai from 1952-1970. In the 60s he exhibited regularly with the CWAJ, College Women's Association of Japan, an annual juried exhibition of prints established in 1956.
