Not much is known about Katô Tetsunosuke; his best-known work are a number of prints depicting Hokkaidô scenes. He exhibited with the Nihon Hanga Kyôkai between 1933 and 1940, and he may also be the same artist as the watercolourist T. Katô who worked around the same time.
