Ikeda Yoson (1895-1888)

Born in Okayama, Yoson Ikeda first studied oil painting with Matsubara Sangorō (1864-1946); then he switched to Japanese style painting, and studied with Takeuchi Seihô (1864-1942). In 1987 he was awarded the Order of Culture.
