Terunuma Kôji (1950- )

Terunuma Kôji 照沼光治 was descended from a family of Japanese-style painters. In 1968 he won his first prize at the Ibaraki Prefectural Art Festival. He started a career in advertising, but from the 1990s he has had many solo and group exhibitions all over Japan, often in one of the major department stores, as is customary in Japan.
