Born in 1943, Sato Morihiro 佐藤守弘 became a student of Hoshi Jôichi (1913-1979) after he had graduated at the Musashino College of Fine Art, like his teacher had done before him. He is primarily known for his landscapes. Like Hoshi Jôichi he is also known to have made a series of prints of trees, and like him he has a fondness for metallic pigments.
