Osaka Tadashi was born in Osaka prefecture. One of his teachers was Fumio Kitaoka, who is also known for his detailed landscapes. Tadashi Osaka creates elaborate woodblock prints with town and village views and landscapes scenes from Mediterranean countries like Portugal and Spain and similar scenes of Japan. In 2005 he contributed to the prestigious annual CWAJ show for the 4th time.
