Katsuharu Shinya (1951- )

Born in 1951, Katsuharu Shinya (also known as Tatsuhara Inuki)collaborated with Shimoyama Susumu on the analysis of the pigments for Ukiyo-e prints (concentrating on prints by Hokusai and Kunisada from the 1830s) The result was read at the Dyes in History and Archaeology in 1994. In 2000 had a one-man show of his woodblock print portfolio at Takashimaya Department Store in Nagoya. He is primarily known for three designs: Art Deco Woman, tattooed Woman and Anthology.
