Biography Minagawa, Taizô (1917 - 2005)

Minagawa Taizo was born in Kyoto in 1917. While alive he lived in the Shimogamo Ward of Kyoto. He graduated from the Kyoto City School of Arts and Crafts. In Japan he is mainly known as a textile dyer and weaver, and his work is found in many museums. He was a frequent exhibitor with the national Nitten Association throughout his career and he received many prizes over the years. He died in 2005.
