Biography Sano, Seiji (1959 - )

Sano Seiji was born in Iwata City, Shizuoka prefecture. In 1984 he became a pupil of Ido Masao.
In 1995 he had his first solo exhibition. From then on his career took off. His work has found its way into the LACMA (Los Angeles Museum of Art) collection and into the Library of Congress collection. In 2009 he started his own atelier in Tenryu-ku, Shizuoka.
