Biography Matsumura, Matsujir˘ (? - ?)

According to Helen Merritt, Matsumura Matsujir˘ started his career in 1924, when he contributed to Shi to Hanga, a hanga periodical. In 1928 he exhibited with the Nihon S˘saku-Hanga Ky˘kai and he was in the middle of S˘saku Hanga activities in the late 1920s and 1930s. It is known that he lived in Manchuria in 1939 and that he was interned in Siberia. The rest of his life is unknown.
