Biography Komatsuzaki, Kunio (1931 - 1992)
Kunio Komatsuzaki was born in Tokyo. After graduating from the oil painting department of Tokyo Fine Art College in 1954, he became an assistant art instructor. Upon graduation he received the Yasutaku Award and the Ohashi award. After 1954 he received several awards from Issuikai Association. He is mainly known as a painter, but he also made a limited number of woodblock prints for Unsôdô in Kyoto.
