Biography Kitagawa Kazuo (? - ?)

Apart from the fact that Kitagawa Kazuo (北川 一雄) was a pupil of Kaburagi Kiyokata, not much is known about him. In 1919 he made four (Helen Merritt) or only one (The New Wave) woodblock landscape print(s) for Watanabe Sh˘zabur˘. Why he discontinued working for him we do not know; neither do we know anything about the rest of his career. Understandably his work is very rare.
