Biography Chikuseki (? - ?)

Nothing is known about this artist, only that he was one of the many artists that contributed to the production of the many shikishiban (square) bird-and-flower prints at the beginning of the 20th century. The number of different designs by him is limited. Judging from his style he may have been a painter who used the Kanji (Chiku + seki) of a famous Nanga predecessor of a century before.
