Biography Ogawa, Ukô 小川 雨虹 (1911 - 2002)

Ogawa Ukô was born in Tochigi prefecture. He was a student of Mio Goseki, and later became a member of the Inten. He is mainly known as a painter of bijin - beautiful women. He also studied the Bunraku theatre, and he was a member of the Academy of Japanese Fine Arts.
