Biography Kasumi, Bunsh˘ 春見 文勝 (1905 - 1998)

Bunsh˘ Kasumi closely followed in the footsteps of two great predecessors, Nantenb˘ and Deiryű, when in 1943 he became abbot of Kaisei-ji (temple), where they had resided before him. At the end of his long life, in 1990, he became the 29th chief abbot of the My˘shin sect at My˘shin-ji (temple), again the same temple of both Nantenb˘ and Deiryű.
