Description Venyususu tanjô (ヴェニュス誕生) - The birth of Venus Book(s) size: 21.3 x 15.7 cm. One volume of poetry by Horiguchi Daigaku (1892-1981), 53pp., plus a thin volume of illustrations by Munakata Shikô. Published by Shochokai in 1934. The cover illustration on the volume of poetry is by Sano Shigejiro, the other illustrations (2 on the covers and chitsu and 7 inside) are by Munakata. Of the edition of 450, 50 copies were handprinted, the other 400 (of which this is one) were machine-printed from the same blocks. Both the volume of poetry and the volume of illustrations are uncut. I will leave the decision to separate the pages to the new owner.
