Description Poster Poster (woodblock printed) announcing the 3rd exhibition of the Shinchôkai between January 25th and 30th in 1941 (Showa 16). I have not been able to find the Shinchiokai (translatable as "New opportunity Society" - 晨潮會), but the poster also states that Yôga (洋画), Western painting, will be shown, and gives location (場) and duration (期) of the exhibition. Paper size: 31.2 x 53 cm. Apparently this is a trial impression, and Sekino has added watercolour to the girl's portait. On the backside the contours of the girl have been traced with pencil.

Condition Very good impression and colours, good condition (some superficial creasing). Ex Sekino Jun'ichirô family collection.
