Description
watercolour on thick paper. In July 1933, Winsor and Newton, of Rathbone Place, London, had an exhibition in Kobe, showing the works of Georges Bigot, Charles Wirgman and Kobayashi Kiyochika.This watercolour was among the works shown (#1977); one picture shows the original sticker, once attached to the back of the frame (now lost).
Condition
Good: some hairline cracks in the surface of the paper (which may be slightly toned) interesting doodles verso! (see detail 2)
