Sakamoto Yoshinobu (1895 - 1988)

From the series Tosa sanjū ezu (土佐三十絵図) 30 Views of Tosa ) (Shikoku), self-printed between 1932 and 1935: #8 Shiei gurando (市営グランド) - Municipal ground. Paper size: 36.8 x 25.6 cm. Printed on fairly thin, long-fibred paper. It is difficult to assess if the printing was deliberately clumsy (possibly to reinforce the Sōsaku Hanga character of the print), or because he was not such a good printer.

Euro reserved

Good impression and colours, very good condition: some shallow printer’s creases. In the middle, some 7 cms from the top of the paper, a black inkspot.
