Maekawa, Senpan (1888 - 1960)
Sansai kyōen jō (山菜 饗宴帖) - Wild vegetable feast, volume 10 of the series Kanchū kanpon (閑中閑本) - Leisure time, leisure books, published between 1945 and 1960. The series consisted of 27 volumes at the time of Maekawa Senpan's death. Size: 9 x 16.5 cm (when closed), containing some pages of text and 14 double-page illustrations (18 x 16.5 cm). Number 106 from an edition of 150, brush-signed by Maekawa Senpan, with original wrapper. Shown are two of the double-page illustrations, and the cover.
