Sekino, Jun'ichirô (1914 - 1988)
Etching Paper size: 21.8 x 27.6 cm. Title unread, but certainly a remarkable etching with very strong Aubrey Beardsley overtones. Printed in brown ink, probably in the 1940s. Sekino started as an etcher in the early 1930s until he joined the group around Onchi Kôshirô and subsequently specialized as a woodblock artist, whose printing skills almost equaled Onchi’s own.
Euro 315
Fine impression, good/very good condition: some toning at the edges, especially the right edge, but not influencing the image in any way.
