Ayame to shōjo (菖蒲と少女) - Irises and young woman
Paper size: 57 x 41.8 cm. Self-printed in 1952. Print details in pencil in the bottom margin. "Hashimoto Okiie saku" impressed in the right margin.
According to Oliver Statler the artist used a model for this print and the sketch was made in the Shobu-en iris garden in Yokohama. A deservedly famous design, illustrated in most books about Sōsaku Hanga.
