A striking and unusual print, a Western scene conceived by an artist who moved in the centre of both Sōsaku Hanga and Shin Hanga from the start of both movements.

Fine impression and colours, good condition: several faint foxing spots, mainly in the margin. Four miniscule pinholes in the four corners of the image.
The print has been printed with extreme care: blindprinting and very delicate shading.
