Genji emaki, a complete set of four prints, illustrating four chapters of the Genji monogatari - The Tale of Genji, written by Murasaki Shikibu in the early 11th century. Four chapters are illustrated: Akashi, Matsukaze, Hotaru and Wakana, chapters 13, 18, 25 and 34 respectively. Sizes differ slightly: ca. 40 x 31 cm. Each print has two hand-applied seals reading "Yoshi". Published by Y?y? (悠々洞出版) in 1978.

Fine impressions, colours and condition: each print is in its own mat, the four mats are in a stiff, silk-covered folder, which in its turn is in a cardboard chitsu. A folder in Japanese (with photos of the four prints and a biography plus photo of the artist) is included.
