Maekawa, Senpan (1888 - 1960)
Paper size: 31.8 x 25.9 cm. Self-printed in 1943. This print is illustrated in Oliver Statler's Modern Japanese Prints - An Art Reborn, plate 27. Oliver Statler adds that the location is Yoshino, near Tokyo.
Also illustrated in Modern Japanese Prints: The Twentieth Century, The Carnegie Museum of Art, 2009, p. 101.
Fine impression, very good colours, good condition: some condition issues - there is a mat line, though not as visible as the one generated by my scan, and there is some tape residue (verso) on the four corners. Still, this one of Maekawa Senpan's most characteristic and desirable designs.
