Literature:	In July 1933, Winsor and Newton, of Rathbone Place, London, had an exhibition in Kobe, showing the works of Georges Bigot, Charles Wirgman and Kiyochika Kobayakawa (a.o.). This watercolour was among the works shown (#1977); one picture shows the original sticker, once attached to the back of the frame (now lost).
