Biography Kawasaki, Kyosen (? - ?)

Kyosen Kawasaki was primarily known as a Japanese-style painter, who lived in Osaka. He was the son of Ichyôsai Yoshitaki (1841-1899), an Osaka woodblock print artist.
In 1924 Kyosen Kawasaki contributed to Hanga.
In 1938 he wrote an article about his father and about the daily practice of being a woodblock print artist in the 19th century (see Roger Keyes, The Theatrical World of Osaka Prints, 1973, pp. 318-320).
