Biography Mori, Dôshun (1909 - 1985)

Born in Takayama, Mori Dôshun studied with Onchi Kôshirô; he was active from ca. 1930. He contributed to the Hanga magazine Shiro to kuro (White & black) in 1930 and was active in many printmakers' groups. He contributed to every set of Ichimokushu (First Thursday Society), from 1944-1950. He made the frontispiece design of set 5, published in 1949.
