Biography Ikeda, Terukata 池田輝方 (1883 - 1921)

Ikeda Terukata was born in Tokyo. First he became the pupil of Mizuno Toshikata, and later of Kawai Gyokudô. He was a frequent exhibitor and prize winner at the Bunten and Inten. He specialized in paintings of women. He was married with Ikeda Shôen (1888-1917), who like him died very young.
