Biography Arihira, Kogan 在原古玩 (1829 - 1922)
Arihira Kogan was born in Edo, the son of a samurai. He first studied painting under the Tosa artist Arai Sôshun. He was a frequent exhibitor and also received commissions from the imperial household.  See more paintings from this artist! Back
