Technique:sumi on paper
Condition:Chûberi (middle part) of brown silk brocade (leaf pattern), top and bottom of brown silk brocade (cloud pattern), brown&gold ichimonji and futai, ivory rollers, fitted wooden box.
There is a Kiwame fuda (certificate of authenticity) written by the well-known appraiser Ôkura Kôsai・大倉好斎 (1795~1862) in 1838.
Very good overall condition: a few shallow creases and some hardly visible insect damage (in the top of the painting). Amazing condition for its age!
