Folder with three woodblock-printed postcards
Size of the folder: 20.4 x 21.4 cm (open), size of the three postcards: 9 x 14.1 cm. Though Sanzo Wada was connected with Kyoto Hanga-in his involvement in the production of this set is uncertain. This set is discussed in detail in Lawrence Smith: Japanese prints during the allied occupation 1945-1952, #77.

Euro SOLD

Fine impression and colours, very good condition: the three titles on the postcard side of the woodcuts are: "Sanjo bridge in Kyoto", "Japanese coming home on Hakata pier" and "A snowy sight at Hibiya junction in Tokyo".
