Azechi, Umetarô (1902 - 1999)

Daibosatsu-rei (大菩薩嶺(妙見の頭)) Mt. Daibosatsu
Paper size: 47,5 x 34.7 cm. Self-printed in 1940 ( the Japanese year 2600, counting from the first emperor). Hand-applied "Ume" seal bottom right. Title, date an artist's name printed in the right-hand margin.
This is probably a trial impression, since it is printed on thin, machine-made paper.

Euro SOLD

Fine impression and colours, good condition: the print looks OK (as in the photo I have taken of it), but seen from a different angle the machine-made paper looks a bit mottled. Some of the edges have been reinforced.
