A fairly good copy of this rare and wanted book: the b/w woodblocks (mainly caricatures) and the colour woodblock prints (full-size pages - 18 x 10.5 cm), of which 7 are shown, are in good condition. The spine has a bit of damage. The original slipcase is included. The book is 636 pp., mainly text pages of course.
See Andon 37, p.30 for an article by Scott Johnson on this book genre. Fredrick Starr is shown in "detail".
